Michel Guerrin is editor-in-chief at Le Monde. He was responsible for the photography section, head of the culture department, director of the “Culture & Ideas” supplement that he created, and deputy editorial director. He has published since 2013, every Friday dated Saturday, a cultural policy column, in which he describes and analyzes, in France and abroad, the way in which creation resonates with society, politics or the economy. Michel Guerrin is also one of the managers of the “Monde Festival” which offers, for a weekend, around thirty debates with personalities from all over the world, shows and films. He is the author of several books: Profession: photoreporter (Gallimard, 1988); Raymond Depardon (Photo Poche, Nathan, 1999); Guy Bourdin-Exhibit A (Le Seuil, 2001); Réalités, un mensuel français illustré, with Anne de Mondenard (Actes Sud, 2008); Henri Cartier-Bresson et Le Monde (Gallimard, 2008).
