Getting Started
Worldcrunch is a Paris-based, English-language media company founded five years ago by an American foreign correspondent and a French internet businesswoman. We work with professional journalists, experts and translators to identify and produce the best international journalism in English for the first time. Now we are building iQ, an open network of contributors from around the world to expand our coverage and reach. For those interested in joining Worldcrunch iQ, here are some questions you might have:
1. Why should I create a Worldcrunch iQ profile
Joining the iQ network is a free and easy way to show the world who you are, what you’ve done … and what else you can do!
2. What are the benefits of contributing to the iQ network?
This will depend in part on your skills and experience, as well as your own goals, but they include
Serious global recognition for your talents and contributions
Paid work opportunities from our third-party clients, perks and/or payments for contributions for our global news web
A unique chance to see your work travel across languages, and around the world.
3. How long it will take for my profile to get approved?
It should take between 24 and 48 hours. If you don’t hear from us by then, send us a note at info@worldcrunch.com
4. Can I personalize my profile page?
Absolutely! The more information, the better. You can include your areas of interest, skills, languages and links of published material. You can use your LinkedIn profile as a starting point, but you should fill it out, update with new information, examples of your work, et al.
5. What kind of stories and content are you looking for?
Once you sign up, you will have access to a detailed guide on the way we work.
